I tried to prove my worth by doing all... the... things.
Saying yes when I should have said no. Taking on more because I didn't want to let anyone down. Showing up for everyone else...while slowly running myself into the ground. 😞 Someone wake me when it's time to get off the merry-go-round.
I was leading, serving, helping... from the outside, it looked like I had it together, but underneath it... I felt the pressure. 🎭
The pressure to do more, to be more, and to finally feel like I was enough.
I thought confidence would come from accomplishment. But no matter how much I did, now matter how many achievements or "gold stars" I earned, it never felt settled.
There was always one more thing to fix, one more expectation to meet, or one more reason I didn't quite measure up yet.
Then everything started to shift. It wasn't because I finally got it all right, it was because God began to show me what was actually going on. He started revealing this ridiculous, unreachable finish line I'd created for myself.

I wasn't lacking effort. I was building my life from the wrong foundation.
I had been trying to live from pressure... instead of from God-given-identity, trying to prove something instead of resting in what Christ had already finished. ✝️
As I began to renew my mind with truth, get honest about what was out of alignment, and surround myself with the right kind of support... you know the kind that isn't afraid to tell ya like it is...
